The festival of San Fermín in the city of Pamplona (Navarre, Spain), in the north of the Iberian peninsula, is a deeply-rooted celebration held annually from noon 6 July, when the opening of the fiesta is marked by setting off the pyrotechnic chupinazo accompanied by music, to midnight 14 July, with the singing of the Pobre de Mí. While. The most famous event is the encierro, the running of the bulls.
The encierro begins with the letting off of two rockets, the cohetes. One firecracker announces the release of the bulls from their corral, and a second firecracker signals that the last bull has left the corral.

The event is dangerous. Since 1924, 15 people have been killed and over 200 have been seriously injured. Most injuries nowadays, however, are caused by the stampede of participants seeking to run away from the powerful bulls.

Synopsis (from michaelmoore.com):

Cheaper variants of iPhone?

Market sources are claiming that Apple has already started working on cheaper variants of their upcoming Apple iPhone mobile phone device.

American Technology Research analyst Shaw Wu has said in a note that he believes that the company is reacting to the market pressure to make such a move.

Apple launched the iPod Shuffle and iPod nano players after launching the regular iPod to meet the demand of the people who wanted a cheaper solution.

He said: “Apple needs to round out its iPhone product line at lower price points (similar to iPod) if it expects to replicate the success of its iPod with sales of 100 million units.”
